Dominican Republic

Oct.8 - Oct.17 So a few months back our good friends the Standages asked us if we would want to go with them to Dominican Republic over fall break! We didn't have but a couple days to decide and book it. We heard about the beautiful warm beaches and decided with Sailor just turning 4 that this would be a great time to take the kids on a big adventure! Sailor being the only one of our kids that had flown in a airplane before (she was 9moths old) the kids were thrilled to hear that they would have 4 plane rides! Part One: First plane to Florida, the kids loved the airplane and were soo good!

Sage was so nice to read to sailor while waiting to get on the plane!

So after spending the night in Florida we woke up the next morning and flew to the Dominican Republic. The beaches were so beautiful and so warm!

Sunday: We had to find a local bus to ride to the chapel. The local buses were crazy they would cram 40 people in a 10 passenger van or bus!

The kids LOVE Tanner and he was so great with them!

The resort had a couple different Pools the kids had fun in!

Such a fun day couldn't even set the goldfish down before falling asleep!

We would let the kids walk back to the room with tanner after dinner while we hung out longer and we came home to this a few times:
